Bing is a Black Belt under Professor James Foster. Bing is a long time martial artist who holds rank in several different styles. Coach Bing has been involved in sports and martial arts all his life, and when he's not coaching or training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, he's playing or coaching Soccer. Coach Bing ensures all new students feel like they are part of the team from the moment they walk through the door to first time they step out onto the mats.

Professor Foster has been training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu since 1996. He is the proud owner and head instructor of Foster Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Kent, Washington and currently holds the rank of 3rd Degree Black Belt under Giva Santana of One Jiu-Jitsu. Scott earned his Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in September, 2014 from Professor James Foster. In 1991, Scott began training in Hawaii under Relson Gracie. After a long break and a move to Washington State, Scott restarted his training with a co-worker in Covington in 2002. Eventually, Scott was lucky enough to find Professor Foster and has been with him ever since.

Owen is Black Belt under Foster BJJ & Coach Bing Crook, and is the one of the head instructor at Phantom BJJ.. Owen Started training under coach Foster in summer of 2008; in 2011 he moved and started coaching @ phantom bjj.. then in 2013 took 3rd at Master Worlds. Owen was promoted to his BJJ Black Belt by Coach Foster on October 17, 2016. Owen is responsible for team Phantom's tournament success as he runs our adult competition team on Sundays.

Leo recently joined Phantom BJJ in 2015 as a Purple Belt. In 2013, Leo won the IBJJF Masters/Senior World Championship as a Blue Belt in the Featherweight division. Leo also assists law enforcement with training and defensive tactics. His technical skill and experience as a coach and instructor are welcome additions to the Phantom BJJ team.

Shannon Stallard has devoted more than 35 years of his life to the study of the martial arts. He holds advanced black belts in several styles and is the founder and chief instructor of Advanced Combative Tactics, a system that he designed, which links the theory and techniques of many martial arts to the reality of combat duress. Instructor level ranks in Japanese Jiu Jitsu, Karate and Korean Hwarang Do with over 25 years of teaching experience Trained in small arms combatives and CQB tactics through Maricopa Tactical under its founder Mark Volpone Former professional security consultant and bodyguard Head instructor for the Gangbusters Program, Tucson AZ Throughout the 1990s, while working is private security, Mr. Stallard developed the Advanced Combative Tactics (A.C.T.) System, which he used in training his security agents. Later he used his revolutionary system to create a self defense video and establish A.C.T.  as a core curriculum of  self defense for non-martial artists.  This system is still taught at some colleges today as part of their justice studies program. Mr. Stallard is known for his use of science, practicality, human psychology, and an understanding of how combat works to modernize and update martial arts instruction. He is continuing his own education at Phantom Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Instructor Bing Crook.

Julie is the co-owner of phantom Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu & wife of Bingo Crook.. Julie started Jiu-Jitsu in the summer of 2012 doing part time between being a mom and coaching basketball.. She received her blue belt on 10-17-16.. Julie is always running around the gym handling the day to day operations and taking care of everyone..

Julie received her NASM certificate in 2015 and runs our Speed-Strength-Agility program working with all types of teams (soccer, basketball, football plus more).. she also assist in the women's bjj program and runs the women's fitness program..
